Hotel Glar – a luminous oasis on the Island of Wolin
On the picturesque Wolin Island, right in the heart of the Baltic Sea National Park, stands Hotel Glar, inspired by local heritage and the natural beauty of the surrounding environment. Designed by NOKE Architects, the project uses advanced AQForm lighting solutions to create spaces that both inspire and relax.
A welcome in light
Guests enter the hotel through the lobby, which captivates with elegance and cosiness at first glance. The hidden PET mini luminaires subtly highlight the refined details of the interior, creating a warm atmosphere. Additional light accents from PUTT luminaires introduce a dynamic play of light and shadow, guiding the eye through the carefully designed space.
Culinary experiences in a modern setting
Next, guests find themselves in the restaurant, where carefully designed lighting combines minimalist design with functionality. The luminaires LEDROUND, placed on the ceiling and along the walls, create bright, even lighting for the two-storey space, perfect for enjoying a meal in a cosy atmosphere. Additionally, PET midi luminaires placed above the bar in the restaurant area provide more accentuated lighting, highlighting the decor inspired by nature and wooden finishing elements. The warm, subtle light creates a cosy setting, ideal for both morning meetings and evening dinners.
A space for integration
The bar adjoining the restaurant serves as the central point of the hotel’s public space. PET midi LED G/K spot luminaires, discreetly integrated into the bar’s decor, light up its area, creating a comfortable atmosphere ideal for evening gatherings. The wooden finishes and greenery of the plants blend seamlessly with the warm LED lighting, drawing the attention of guests.
Immerse yourself in relaxation
In the hotel pool, the architects opted for LED EYE luminaires with enhanced sealing. These luminaires provide even lighting across the space while showcasing the beauty of the mosaic pool floor. The flashes of light on the water’s surface create the illusion of natural sunlight, ideal for the wellness area.
Mysterious passages full of light
The corridors of the wellness area are spaces where lighting plays a key role in setting the mood. The luminaires from the PET family, hidden in the folds of the ceiling, introduce delicate, diffused light that accentuates the texture of the walls and creates a play of light and shadow, adding depth and mystery.
A space of comfort and privacy
Each hotel room is designed with a focus on comfortable relaxation. In the bathrooms, luminaires from the HOLLOW collection not only offer an elegant appearance but also functionality. The lighting is moisture-resistant and blends seamlessly with the modern interior finishing elements. In the public bathrooms, PUTT luminaires are used, and their light highlights the bold colours of the rooms.
Light in harmony with nature
Hotel Glar is a place where modernity meets nature, and each room radiates a unique glow thanks to AQForm’s innovative lighting solutions. An oasis of relaxation and inspiration, where every detail, from the lobby to the wellness area, has been designed with the utmost comfort of the guests in mind. Welcome to Hotel Glar – a place where light and nature create perfect harmony.
