Interior that blends retro aesthetics with contemporary functionality

The Pan Tu Nie Stał café and store in Łódź is a place where the past meets modernity. The distinctive brick walls and industrial details create the perfect backdrop for the design, where lighting plays a key role.

See an interior that blends retro aesthetics with contemporary functionality

The Pan Tu Nie Stał shop-café in Łódź, designed by Joanna Fabjańska (Luva Architecture) and Katarzyna Markowska (Miuo Studio), is a place where the past meets modernity. The characteristic brick walls and industrial details create the perfect backdrop for an arrangement where lighting plays a key role.

PET maxi LED on a track – the heart of the lighting concept

A central feature of the project is the use of PET spotlights on track systems, providing maximum design flexibility. The minimalist form of the luminaires blends seamlessly with the industrial character of the space while ensuring high functionality.

• Wide beam angle: The chosen beam angle (53°) ensures even illumination, which is crucial in a shop setting, where consistent lighting across the space allows for comfortable product viewing. In the café area, this light promotes relaxation and enhances the cosy character of the interior. • Colour temperature: A warm white light of 3000 Kelvin creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, combining functionality with a homely feel. • High CRI: PET maxi LED luminaires feature a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI>90), which is essential in this project. In the retail space, it guarantees excellent colour representation of clothing, aiding customers in their purchasing decisions. Additionally, in the overall interior design, a high CRI highlights the richness of materials used in the arrangement – from bricks and shelves to colourful decorative accents. • Minimalist aesthetics: The understated design of PET maxi LED allows the luminaires to seamlessly integrate into the space, keeping the focus on the illuminated products and interior details.

Thoughtful details and cohesive design

The design by Joanna Fabjańska and Katarzyna Markowska stands out for its attention to detail. The PET maxi LED luminaires not only illuminate the space but also enhance its functionality. The combination of spotlights with raw industrial elements, such as exposed installations and metal shelving, results in a modern interior with a touch of nostalgia.

Final effect

The Pan Tu Nie Stał project is proof of how crucial lighting is in shaping the atmosphere of a space. PET maxi LED spotlights precisely highlight the unique features of the interior, such as the brick walls and colourful shelving, while also ensuring everyday comfort.
